In order
to demonstrate and improve warehousing services, MPWLC has developed
and implemented a Quality Management System in some of its branch
offices and now planning to extend it in all its branches, regional
and corporate offices in accordance with the requirements of
ISO 9001: 2000.
For this the MPWLC has Planning to
1. Identifying the process needed for the Quality
Management System and their application throughout the organization
.
2. Determining the sequence and interaction
of these processes.
3. Determining the criteria and methods needed
to ensure that both the operation and control of these processes
needed are effective.
4. Ensuring the availability of resources and
information necessary to support the operation and monitoring
of these processes and periodically reviews them.
5. Establishing the system for monitoring,
measuring and analyzing these processes.
6. Establishing the system of implementing
actions necessary to achieve planned results and continual improvement
of these processes. |

In
present era of increased work load due to increasing storage
capacity, ever expanding range of skills and service specializations,increased
competition it is necessary to need to make available accurate
business related information quickly for better planning and
for this MPWLC planning for total computerization of his Management
Information System.
This automation work is in its preliminary stage and will cover
all Branches, regional offices and Corporate office. Process
cover five main wings of MPWLC. These are
